Featuring exciting rhythms and modern harmonies, Fearless is a direct and intense work meant to excite and engage. The recurring ostinato rhythm is sometimes powerful and percussive, while at other times more nuanced, with shifting harmonies and opportunities for phrasing and musicality. The contrast in the middle section provides a brief respite from its stormy surroundings while never straying too far from the themes.
