Bach who used examples of Albinoni's music in his teaching, and also used themes written by Albinoni as the basis for some of his own pieces.Elegy for Albinoni, a beautiful memorial piece in honor of this musical master, uses a romantic tone to set the stage for a theme based on one of Albinoni's violin sonatas.
