The worship brought with it a variety of western music.

The piece is in traditional ABA form, beginning with a lilting Irish jig, then a more lyrical and slow second theme. Legacy of Honor - Larry Clark

After the exciting first section, a lyrical second theme departs to something beautiful and lush in harmonic structure. The Gladiator (March) - John Philip Sousa
A lesser-known but unforgettable Sousa march is presented in a terrific arrangement for the modern concert band by the expert Andrew Balent. The opening idea has an intriguing tonal ambiguity (is it major or minor?) and the second strain, introduced by the saxophones, is a real Sousa gem.
