This festive concert march was commissioned by the Portuguese wind band 'Banda de Msica de Carregosa' on the occasion of the nomination as 'Commendator' of its president, the businessman Fernando Pinho Teixeira, in 2005. The band premiered the march in April 2006. Because of its solemn and majestic character, this lyrical and tuneful march reminds us of the music of the baroque era. This is, no doubt, a fine acquisition for the march music repertoire.

A version for brass band was written for Manger Musikklag and recorded by them on "Grafitti", Bjrn Sagstad conducting.
