£134.99I Colori della Gioia (Vocal (Soprano) Solo with Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Van der Roost, Jan
This work for soprano and concert band was originally written for a special occasion: the wedding of one of the composer's children. It therefore matches another piece written for a similar occasion, I Shall Love But Thee. The lyrics are from the book Respiro Neve by the internationally renowned art photographer Luca Artioli, who possesses poetic talent as well. The first movement is stately and serene as where the contrasting allegro is much more dynamic and cheerful, requiring the solid high register of the singer. The conclusion is festive and radiant, partly thanks to the contribution of a piccolo trumpet! This work is a wonderful addition to the band repertoire wanting to perform with an excellent vocal soloist!Duration: 6.45

£115.00Nne Na Tatu (Windependence Concert Band - Score and Parts) - French, Daniel
Nne na Tatu (Swahili for "Four on Three") is inspired by the music of sub-Saharan Africa and other world music traditions. Like many of those traditions, Nne na Tatu is driven by relentless percussion and rhythmic-focused development. A bold, festive theme, introduced in the brass, recurs throughout and grounds the piece amidst a series of unpredictable detours - a Scottish-inspired dance in the winds, a marimba melody reminiscent of the music of the Andes - before returning in a final triumphant fanfare. £84.50Buffalo Dances (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Smith, Robert W.
The lake region around Buffalo, Minnesota, is one of great geographic beauty and historic significance. The white elm trees grew to six feet in diameter and up to majestic heights of over one hundred feet. The Dakota People lived and prospered in this area between the lakes for 300 years. Buffalo was a favourite hunting and fishing ground for the Dakotas until the arrival of the first European fur traders and settlers. The richness of the natural resources served as a catalyst for modern development, which led to the very progressive region that continues to grow to this day.Buffalo Dances honours the natural beauty, Native-American heritage and the modern prosperity of Buffalo.
