£176.50Four Norfolk Dances (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Sparke, Philip
Norfolk is one of the most beautiful counties in England, famous for its charming villages and boundless broads, a popular centre for sailing holidays. It is also the home of one of the best known of all British composers, Sir Malcolm Arnold. The date of the premiere of this piece was to fall close to his 80th birthday, so Philip Sparke decided to write something of a birthday tribute. Some of Arnold's best-loved orchestral works are his sets of dances: there are two sets of English Dances, Four Scottish Dances, Four Cornish Dances etc., most of which have been arranged for concert band at one time or another. Philip Sparke thought it would be appropriate for the concert band to have its own set of dances and wrote Four Norfolk Dances very much in the style of Arnold's suites.Duration: 13:00

£62.95Four of a Kind (Trumpet Quartet with Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Bullock, Jack
Feature four trumpets in this swing-era style work for concert band. Reflect on the 40s, 50s and 60s musically as the trumpets set the stage for grand memories of the big-band sound. The key to the accompaniment is attention to articulation. Highly programmatic.Duration: 3.00

£76.99Four Old Dances (Flexible Ensemble - Score and Parts) - Van der Roost, Jan
These four dances are written in a kind of neo renaissance style. Because of the fact that little technical demands are required from its performing artists, these dances are mainly meant for beginning groups, youth ensembles and also for bands in all kinds of small strengths. Jan Van der Roost originally had pedagogical intentions with this piece.Duration: 5:45

£134.99Four Original Warm-Ups for Band (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Appermont, Bert
From his experience as a conductor and adjudicator, Bert Appermont knows that bands often experience the same problems: lack of sound control, intonation difficulties, uncontrolled articulation and insufficient phrasing. Practising these aspects is very demanding and there is little material available that is also enjoyable to play. Four Original Warm-Ups consists of four fun warm-up pieces. Each piece focuses on one of the problems without the music being dull. The four pieces work equally well when played together or as individual items either at rehearsals or in a concert. Duration: 11.30
