Outstanding writing, especially for the percussion, who are featured from beginning to end. A powerhouse for young band!

The Knights' Creed - Robert Buckley

The medieval knights had a code of chivalry that included courage, community and wisdom - in this composition each of these ideals is symbolized with its own melody. The percussion provides the framework as these melodies are stated individually, in pairs and ultimately all together in a triumphant conclusion. This work is an ideal high-energy concert opener or festival piece that showcases all sections of the band and allows them each to play the melody. Dur: 5:10
