Symphonic concert work, dedicated to the Bauernkapelle St. Georgen, conductor Johannes Biegler. The concert work "La Citt", which translates as "The City", is a tribute to the district of St. Georgen near Eisenstadt in Austria.The work begins with a majestic introduction in which the main theme is presented. The following Allegro con Spirito. Is intended to symbolize the occupation of the Romans after the birth of Christ. The "St. George's Song", a folk tune arranged in various registers, is heard. Another fast section reminds us once again of the Romans. After a reprise of the opening theme with various solos, the work ends in a grandiose finale with the whole orchestra.

Spirit of Andalusia was commissioned by The Glasgow Wind Band. The brief was to create a fascinating 5-minute opener, however, during the compositional process, the piece started to take the form of a Spanish influenced composition. The composer decided to stick to this involuntary development and started producing a tribute to Spanish music, in particular, Flamenco - which originates from the region of Andalusia. Distant Land was originally written in 1991 as a choral piece inspired by the release of Nelson Mandela from prison. Rutter was encouraged to make a purely orchestral version, from which this band arrangement has been adapted. Rutter says: "Listeners who know the original versions may miss the texts, but looking at it another way, your imagination can be set free with no words to constrain you and tell you what the music is 'about'". Distant Land will surely become a tribute to the life of Nelson Mandela, who was a leader of the anti-apartheid movement who eventually became South Africa's first black president to be elected in a fully democratic election.

The bishop died on 17th March 461 and in Ireland, as a tribute to this remarkable bishop, this date became a national holiday called St. Patrick's Day. The Eternal Journey
Written as a tribute to Mike Bandman, Ruth Moore and Jeff Worth, band directors in Gurnee School District 56 Gurnee, Illinois in recognition of their 94 years of combined service to the band and music programs, "The Eternal Journey" opens with a strong brass flourish and delightfully simple melodic statement which is developed throughout the composition. The slower middle section is a powerful hymn-like setting written as an expression of gratitude from a grateful music community, leading us into a dramatic and powerful conclusion. This delightful work was composed in April 2023 by Andrew Wainwright as a tribute to Catherine Ramsdale, who was a member of the composer's church in Lewisville, Texas, and who passed away at the age of 88. The music is supposed to be evocative of Catherine's loving and caring spirit. Starting out in rather melancholy mood to reflect the sadness that Catherine is no longer with us in an earthly sense, the music moves into a more sprightly section which reflects her cheerful and positive personality.
