Scherzo for Band - Luís Cardoso

Fantasy for Wind Band, explores the full range of colours and dynamic possibilities of a wind band, trying to get the attention of the listener through surprise. Much like a cartoon soundtrack, this work contains constantly alternating rhythms, and the subjects have a vertical character. This piece won the 1st Prize of the II Composition Contest 'City of Aveiro', in 2006.
