The arrangement of the chorus is based on how an East African choir would have performed the song. The song is based a lot on the percussion groove, and is particularly suitable for bands and ensembles that want to show off the percussion section. It was written for the Swiss Musikverein Muttenz; this music society celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2021, more than enough reason for a commissioned composition.
