Celebration At Lake Sequoia - Gary P. Gilroy

Gilroy composed this festive work to commemorate the Twentieth Anniversary of the Lake Sequoia Symphonic Music Camp. It is an energetic work which is meant to evoke the spirit of celebration, the beauty of the area, the music camp, and its teachers. Beginning with a brilliant fast section, this is followed by a more serene, introspective section with lyrical lines and soloistic playing in the oboe, horns, and trumpet. Wh then return to the festive tempo for a rousing finale.

Steven Reineke's "Celebration Fanfare" is a brilliant and imposing concert opener for mature ensembles. Originally composed for orchestra and dedicated to Cincinnati Pops maestro Erich Kunzel, this band transcription by composer Reineke will "wow" your audience. Celebration Fanfare - Satoshi Yagisawa

This piece was composed in 2009 for a commission by Shinjuku Bunka Center to commemorate its thirty years since its opening.It is an impressive work with a brilliant, bright fanfare, and the stately sound of the church organ reverberating through the concert hall. The first performance was given by Hiroko Takahashi, a house organist of the center, with Shinjuku City Wind Orchestra conducted by Shigeto Ishizu. Original works for church organ and wind orchestra are surprisingly scarce. This is a fresh opening piece, to be followed by an organ solo which might lead to a march.

Celebration Fanfare (On a Theme by Haydn) - Franz Joseph Haydn

Franz Joseph Haydn's famous melody from the second movement of the Emperor Quartet (String Quartet, Op. 76) was the basis for the national anthem of Austria for more than a century, and is frequently heard in hymns, anthems, andalma maters worldwide. In this celebratory extended fanfare, composer James Curnow skillfully weaves this majestic melody into a work which is both exuberant and energetic. Recorded by the Cobb Wind Symphony (Marietta, GA) -Alfred Watkins and Robert Cowles conductors, premiered during their performance at the 2018 Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic.
