Neil Diamond wrote his Crunchy Granola Suite when he moved to Los Angeles in the 1970s and got to know macrobiotic granola as part of a health-conscious lifestyle. The lyrics of this cheerful song even suggest that eating granola might just be more wholesome than a visit to a psychologist... The song became even better known when the renowned Percy Faith Orchestra turned it into an instrumental version. It was the tune of a number of radio shows, and for good reason. The catchy music is recognizable: an earworm that keeps playing through your mind - in a good way. Highly recommended for your next concert!

Salentin is a mountain from which there is a spectacular view of Vernayaz, the composer's village of origin.This piece is structured in such a way that all registers of the band are highlighted. It is suitable for performance in parade, but also as a concert march.Salentin is dedicated to the Concert Band of Martigny (Valais/Switzerland) and its conductor, Dany Rossier, who premiered Salentin during a concert on 3rd December, 2023.

Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Christmas Overture appeared posthumously in 1925. Originally orchestrated by Sydney Baynes, it features God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and Hark the Herald Angels Sing. It is thought by some to have been put together from incidental music he wrote for a children's play called The Forest of Wild Thyme. This band arrangement, based on Baynes' orchestra score, omits the largely developmental middle section of the original, shortening the performance time by two minutes, while retaining all of the traditional carol material.

The main theme from the movie with the same title, produced in 1962, directed by Blake Edwards and starring Jack Lemmon and Lee Remmick in the leading roles. The composer is one of the great names in music for the movies, Henry Mancini, with lyrics by Johnny Mercer. The song won a Grammy Award for best movie theme. This arrangement was made in 2006 and performed for the rst time by Suoni Wind Orchestra of Skiem, Norway at their Promenade Concert Days of Wine and Roses. It was later recorded on their CD Ambassador". On both occasions it was conducted by the arranger, yvind Strand.

She is elected by the sea to reunite a mysterious relic with a goddess. When a disease affects the island she lives on, Vaiana set sails searching for Maui, a legendary demigod. Her goal is to save her people. The great theme song from the movie, How far I'll go, is magnificent and original and has elements of folk music. The song is nominated for Oscar in the Best original song-category. The modulation in this arrangement is re-written a semitone to make it fit our Young Band Entertainment-series.
