Take-off, black holes, milky voice, encounter of the 3rd type... In the middle of the piece, a solo part is set up and can be played on the synthesizer or the trombone. This piece is a nod to Thomas Pesquet, French astronaut and also saxophonist with an alto saxophone solo in the penultimate part.

"Preskoda nastokrat" is a highly rhythmic piece in a moderate tempo that features a brief double reed/piccolo section. "Ma zlata maticka" begins with an unaccompanied alto saxophone solo, then includes a folk dance that begins slowly and increases in tempo. "Vojaci jedou" is a proud and uplifting march in 3/4 time. "U Kltera pole" ends the rhapsody with a lively 2/4 dance that builds to a rousing conclusion. Burlesco Romantico - Menno Bosgra
The colourful, compelling starting theme forms the leitmotiv throughout this piece. It is followed by a very rhythmical part with a catchy melody that is literally and figuratively music to the ear. A slow, almost meditative part follows with a beautiful alto saxophone solo that leads to an impressive chorale. The fast sections are once more repeated towards the end, but in another form. A fantastic composition by Menno Bosgra!

Celestial Odyssey - Timothy Johnson
The pure excitement of space exploration and discovery are proclaimed in the moving work for young band. We follow the progress of the astronauts from their launch, through a tranquil space walk, and back into our atmosphere for a dramatic ending, stopping for a brief saxophone solo on the way. The tempo never lags, even in the contemplative portions of the piece, and there is plenty of technically challenging yet playable passages to go around.
