This version of Rock Solid by Scott Watson is designed with maximum flexibility for use by any mix of instruments: wind, strings, and percussion, including like or mixed-ensembles with as few as 4 players. The suggested instrumentation and a customisable Teacher Map will help you plan out how to best assign parts to suit your ensemble's needs. The 4-part instrumentation will support balanced instrumentation of the lower voices. It also comes with supplemental parts for maximum flexibility. With the purchase of this piece, permission is granted to photocopy the parts as needed for your ensemble. A percussion accompaniment track is also available as a free download. String parts have been carefully edited with extra fingerings and appropriate bowings to support students in mixed ensembles playing in less familiar keys. Scott Watson's original composition features a moderate rock feel and gritty, dissonant harmonies that combine to portray the sound of industry: work gangs laboring with machinery whirring, clanging, grinding, and banging, along with several vocal shouts from the band and a factory whistle! Watermelon Sugar was the summer hit of the year 2020. It is a song by the British singer-songwriter Harry Styles, who felt inspired by the title of the American novel In Watermelon Sugar (1968) by Richard Brautigan. The melody of the chorus had already taken form during 'Live on Tour', the debut tour that Styles embarked on in September 2017, finishing in July the following year. On a free day, Harry and his band went to The Cave Studio in Nashville, where they created the chorus melody. It is said that the song is about Styles' ex-girlfriend Camille Rowe. Mike Sheppard arranged this catchy tune for a flexible (six-part) ensemble as a lasting memory of the extraordinary year 2020. Duration: 3.00

Flicien Doyen, the President of the Tornacum Royal Choir Circle of Tournai (Belgium) and a close friend of the composer commissioned this Mass. Missa Tornacum was originally composed for mixed choir and organ, gave a memorable performance of thepiece in the Chartres Cathedral in France.Although it does not include the Credo, the work is composed according to the traditional structure of a Mass in five parts : Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Agnus Dei, and Ite missa est. En the first two parts, adialogue is created between the choir and the band. It is followed by the Sanctus cycle ("Sanctus" - "Hosanna" - "Benedictus"), which is remarkable for the contrasts between the tone colorscharacterizing each of its three parts. The fourth part,Agnus Dei, takes on a tone of serene intimacy. A free counterpoint draws this section to a close by fading into an almost imperceptible quietness. Ite missa est begins with a series of imitations, which develop into a majestic and cheerful passagemarking the end of the Mass. Choir parts are available separately.
