The Journey attempts to musically portray the experience offeraveling on an early ship, crossing the vast and tumultuous ocean to an uncertain destination. Cast in a rollicking 6/8 meter, the first theme in D minor signifies determination and perseverance, while the second theme signifies hope and faith. The music tosses and turns as the theme is passed to each section and continues to press on to a triumphant landing! O Christmas in Three
