Leader of the Class (Concert Band - Score and Parts)
Here's a piece that attacks the age old problem of how to challenge your best beginning students while not leaving behind the students of lesser abilities. The first Flute/Oboe, Clarinet, Alto Sax and Trumpet parts all contain a variation on the melody which should be performed by your best students. The 2nd parts to those same instruments are written at the regular beginning band level. Contains an optional keyboard part to help out in bands with instrumentation problems. It's a great motivator and will keep your best students challenged. Very Highly Reccommended!

A unique selection for middle school groups by a bright new composer that is a wonderful choice for all concert or contest performances. The adagio section features short solos for clarinet, flute and baritone. Utilizes harmonic materials not usually found in compositions at this grade level yet very playable and musical. Very nice!

Seor Juancito (Concert Band - Score and Parts)
In Se?or Juancito, the Belgian composer Johan Nijs tells the unusual story of a rich, gruff nobleman who lives on a large estate and does not feel the slightest need to communicate with the outside world. However, one particular day, the people who live in the nearby village try to convince him to visit the annual village festival. At first he raises objections, but the village people insist, so finally, Se?or Juancito gives in and accepts the invitation. The people's friendliness makes an impact on him, and so, in the end, a new world opens up for him... 03:00
