£63.95BUT NOT FOR ME (Vocal or Clarinet Solo/Concert Band) - Barker, Warren
Warren Barker chooses a beautiful Gershwin ballad and gives it his own ethereal harmonic treatment in presenting this opportunity to feature a vocalist with your band (or a solo clarinetist, should you prefer). The lyrics can be adjusted for a male or female vocalist, and with the clarinet player, it doesn't make any difference. Enjoy! (2:44) (Vocal Range: B-flat up to C.) (2:44)

£85.00Walking the Dog (Clarinet Solo with Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Gershwin, George - Bourgeois, Derek
Walking The Dog is one of Gershwin's lighter numbers. It is a clarinet showpiece that is just as much fun as the title suggests. Taken from the movie Shall We Dance, staring none other than the great Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, Walking The Dog catches George Gershwin at the very height of his powers. Rather than the bustling, complex symphonic scores he was by-now accustomed to knocking out, it's a simple, elegant little stroll, as the title suggests. In fact, in the 1937 film, it accompanies a scene of dog-walking, aboard the luxury deck of an ocean liner. Since its use in the film, though, the song has taken on a life of its own and become a popular showing-off piece for clarinettists everywhere. Interestingly, it's also the only section of score from the whole of Shall We Dance that remains - the rest of the movie's music remains sadly unpublished.Duration: 3.00

Suite For Solo Flute, Clarinet and Alto Saxophone - Claude T. Smith
Composed for woodwind artist Gary Foster, the "Suite for Solo Flute, Clarinet and Alto Sax" is a perfect concert showpiece for the multiple woodwind instrumentalist. The opening allegro features flute, demonstrating both technical prowess as well as a jazz-influenced lyrical theme. A return to the allegro is followed by a cadenza, then a switch to clarinet for a haunting and beautiful Lento, and a showy waltz. Concluding on alto saxophone, the soloist again demonstrates great technique as well a lyrical playing. £392.50Prillar&Halling - for Solo Clarinet and Wind Band - Stig Nordhagen
Prillar has it's origin from Norwegian folklorist music. It's a way of calling and singing the cattle home from the fields. Halling is a wellknown folk dance from the valleys in the eastern part of Norway. In this work, the clarinet use the prillar to get the other musicians to join in. The melodic material in Prillar and Halling hasn't got all the sound of Norwegian folklore exclusively. You can also hear folkloric music from other nations. The idea is to show the similarities between these and also the small differences there are between folkloristic elements from a large area. The piece also contains the folk tune "Adam in paradise", from south of Norway. At the end, thetunes are stacked on top of each other, and the similarities of origin turns out. - Stig Nordhagen -
