    Shredder - Sciaino

Once a reliable and trustworthy office machine, Shredder has fallen from grace to seek revenge on its sworn enemies and arch-nemeses... the teachers. After a long relationship of perceived disrespect, this dark lord of xerox, will stop at nothing as it crunches and crinkles its way towards revenge. Ultimately, the gut wrenching tones of the paper jam prevail but not before everyone has a blast bringing the story to life! Hilarious sound files are provided to help the narrative or, alternatively, a guest narrator (perhaps a school administrator) can add a really fun element to any concert!

    Nurture - Edward Fairlie

"There are some people for whom the act of nurturing is innate. The work they do is often unheralded, acknowledgement of their effort the last thing on their mind. But nurturers carry pain, too. Their own burdens, anxieties and hardships often take a back seat to that nurturing impulse. This piece is a meditation on that idea; that some people, not without their own deep personal obstacles, can't help but live out the powerful instinct to hold those around them in a warm embrace of care." - Edward Fairlie -

    The Banquet? - Dana Wilson

Providing a unique concert experience, this programmatic work depicts the story of what newspapers in 1916 described as "the poison soup plot"! At a Chicago banquet for dignitaries and politicians, a mass murder plot involving poison soup was hatched and nearly successful. However, thanks to a large number of unexpected guests, the dilution of the soup to feed everyone, and a quick thinking doctor with an antidote, tragedy was averted with no loss of life. Musical cues follow the events, and detailed program notes are included with the suggestion of including dancers to help tell the story. Imaginative and entertaining!
