£84.99Sparkling Samba - Gilbert Tinner
The flowing rhythm of the samba is often tempestuous and fast, but it always moves within a steady tempo. The samba, like running water, can murmur, swell, sparkle and develop into a fierce element. It is always in motion. Inspired by this principle, Gilbert Tinner composed the work Sparkling Samba. Cowbell Lullaby - Fenske
Moos...cowbells...yodels...alphorns... "Cowbell Lullaby" is an imaginative piece which transports you to Switzerland, joining cows at the end of their day's journey high in the Alps. The herd comes to life in the opening measures, lowing with excitement until the cows are calmed by a delicate lullaby. Dance music of the town band momentarily stirs them before the lullaby once again calls them to bed. Your developing players, and the audience as well, will "udderly" enjoy hanging out with the dairy farmer and his Alpine herd. Mooooo!

£139.99Suite on Celtic Folk Songs - Tomohiro Tatebe
This suite for wind band consists of three Old Irish melodies: "March" is a traditional Irish march of slower 6/8 beat. Led by a characteristically accented drum, the drone effect of a Uilleann bagpipe rings through for an air of courage. Next is a beautiful and nostalgic theme titled "Yellow Village Gate" in Gaelic, the first language of Ireland. Here, a solo piccolo presents the image of a simple fife. "Reel" is a typical Irish dance of very quick tempo. Maintaining the pace from beginning to end, intensified motion combining duple and 6/8 meter drives through to the coda's bold conclusion. Celtic Gathering - André Waignein
Roland Kernen has developed a true fascination for the traditional music scene and for Celtic folk music in particular. The Celts fed on a rich blend of legend and myth which is skillfully portrayed in Celtic Gathering. This lyrical piece embraces two musical atmospheres. The first melodic line, written in a minor key, expresses the cheerful character of a group dance, whilst the second line, written in a major key, portrays perfectly the joyful mood of a Celt village. Why not add a touch of Celtic magic to your band repertoire.

The Best of Village People
Everything started when two Frenchmen, Jacques Morali and Henri Belolo, after having sold over ten records with their band, the Ritchie Family, decided to try out something new. The basic idea was to form a new group inspired by the American male myths of the seventies: cowboys, Indians, men in leather clothes, soldiers and policemen. This is how the Village People were born.Their secret was their energy, cheerfulness and tongue in cheek humour combined with strong disco beat and an arresting visual presence. Even now a Village People song is guaranteed to fill the dance floor in any club or disco. The Best of Village People is a medley including the following pieces: In theNavy,Y.M.C.A. and Macho Man.
