    Although correlated to Level 1, Lesson 6 of the Belwin 21st Century Band Method, this holiday piece with optional audience sing-along can be used with any standard, recognized band method. The pitch range goes from A Concert to G Concert (A 7TH). The notes used are half, quarter and eighth notes. It is written in B-flat, but accidentals are used in the parts instead of key signatures. Tempo and dynamic markings are not used, so this should be taught at the discretion of the director. This is a perfect piece for the very first concert in December for the beginning band.
