Generations Fanfare - Otto M. Schwarz

Generations Fanfare was written in a film-musical style on commission for the Bezirksblasmusikverband (Wind Music Federation) Imst in Tirol, Austria. The composer, Otto M. Schwarz, composed this grade 3-4 standard piece in an attempt to make his film-musical language accessible to concert bands. In the distance trumpets and percussion make their melodic entrance, followed by the whole band. This opening piece is appropriate for every festive occasion.

Generosity - Matthew N. Putnam

This celebratory work by Timothy Broege uses alternating fast and slow segments to showcase a variety of colors and contrasting musical styles. The slow sections feature brief solos for alto sax and trumpet, while the fast sections utilize a driving pulse and creative interplay between the winds and percussion. Geneva Variations - Stephen Bulla

This work is based on the 19th century American hymnmelody 'Resignation' which is also known as Psalm Tune(Psalm 23) based on the words 'The Lord Is My Shepherd".It is in the form of a theme and variations with each ofthe four variations evoking different moods using afragment of the original tune.
