Here is another fine piece by Ennio Salvere written on purpose for beginning bands or youth bands. The four movements contrast strongly, but each part appeals to both musicians and listeners. First we have the 'Crazy Calypso' (a dance rhythm originating from the West Indies) that reminds us of Harry Belafonte and steel band music. 'Song for you' is a quiet tuneful ballad; 'Lazy Latin' lets us enjoy a sparkling Boss nova rhythm, whereas the final part 'Great Escape' keeps everybody on the dance floor in a real Disco style.
