Light Cavalry - Franz von Suppé

A prolific 19th Century composer of operettas, Franz von Supp (1819-1895) is best remembered today for his concert overtures. Of these, Light Cavalry is one of the best known and generations of musicians have made its acquaintance through the wonderful Fillmore transcription of it for band.
