FORGOTTEN DREAMS was completed on May 28, 1954. The first performance was a few days later on June 2nd during a recording session for Delta Records in New York, at which time Leroy Anderson performed the piano solo himself. Although the main theme of FORGOTTEN DREAMS was intended to be played on the piano (and with simplicity), the composer_x001A_s band edition of the piece allowed for a solo flute to substitute (Play only in absence of Piano). It is also suggested the melody might be beautifully rendered on vibraphone due to the sustaining quality of that instrument. In any event, this charmingly romantic miniature will delight audiences whenever it is performed. This edition includes a full score.

Gauthier Dupertuis was inspired to write the main theme of Waterfall by a stroll near a waterfall that is the pride of his hometown. This piece, composed during lockdown due to Covid-19, is also a reflection on homesickness. Waterfall also expresses the composer's feelings about enjoying a welcome break and return to his roots, which enabled him to spend more time with his loved ones. For him, this waterfall is a symbol: it's not the same water that flows there, but the waterfall is still there, the same as it was when he was a child, like a witness to times gone by. Waterfall is a work with a certain sentimental value for the composer in that it was his very first real composition.The work was premiered on 9th October 2020 by the Wind Band Societat Musical 'La Constncia' of Moixent (Spain) and was conducted by Jos Alberto Pina.

This work describes the royal history of the Spanish village of Artajona and the Kingdom of Navarre. The music varies from majestic to fast and lively. We hear bells, a Gregorian theme, we are taken to the Middle Ages in a subdued passage and we listen to echoes of the hymn of Navarre. Lszl Dubrovay's work, written in 2006, on the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth, is a salute of a 21st-century composer to one of the greatest geniuses in the history of music. The composer builds his original ideas on one of the best-known melodies of The Marriage of Figaro (Figaro's aria: ''Non pi? andrai, farfallone amoroso''). The series of variations on the theme of the aria is created by the involvement of special instruments, and by fully harnessing their technical abilities, while Dubrovay's hallmark of a perfect balance and peculiar compositional tone is realised on an exceptionally large orchestra. The work is suited to illustrate the potentials of crossovers between different periods in the history of music, but it can also be played at a festive, thematic concert.
