Written to commemorate to 100th aniversary of powered flight, this dynamic David Shaffer creation is an ideal programming choice for better bands. Includes solo spots for piccolo, F horn, oboe, trumpet, alto sax and flute as well as a host of percussion parts including piano. A broad rubato section provides a wonderful contrast to the bright agressive opening tempo and produces a composition that is challenging but well worth the effort. EXCEPTIONAL!
