"Haven't Met You Yet" is the first single from Canadian singer Michael Bubl's sixth album, Crazy Love, released on August 31, 2009.[1] According to Bubl, the single and its official music video are "about everyone's dream of finding a relationship and love."[2] Bubl co-wrote "Haven't Met You Yet" with Alan Chang and Amy Foster-Gillies, and dedicated it to his then fiance and now wife, Luisana Lopilato (who appears as his love interest in the music video).In 2012, Nick Jonas covered the song in the TV series Smash, so this music can also be used in a TV/Movie theme concert.Soloist opportunities:Attached is a vocal lead that can be used with the arrangement. Feel free for some slapstick-mood at bar 86. Be creative!The style at bar 115 must be outgoing and happy, with a lot of joyfulness!

This work is a commission by the Missouri Bandmasters Association to honor the 50th Anniversary of the MMEA. From the opening melody stated by unison flutes, 1st clarinet and 1st trumpet, the work quickly starts through a development of that melody that only this composer does so well. The writing is very "rubato" chorale style often interrupted with short allegro sections but always returning to the opening statement. There is a short flute solo passage as well as a very fluent alto sax solo. A dramatic piece that bands will enjoy playing for years to come.

Driving in Pittsburgh involves a fair amount of vehicular "dancing" in that theres rarely a direct route to get where you want to go. Metro Dances is a work in five sections about this driving experience. Hit the Gas! starts with a full cup of coffee and just a little less time than normal to reach our destination. Traffic "Jam" abruptly comes out of nowhere in true Pittsburgh fashion. Big Trucks appear, appropriately represented with important material for the lower winds. Next is Rush Hour, which features an optional open section with suggested solos for trumpet and alto sax. Finally, Breaking Free culminates with a brisk finish as traffic opens up and there's smooth sailing on a free and open highway.
