This work, composed as ceremonial music, was to be part of a march medley for the participants' entry for the 2019 Inter-High School Championships, held in Kagoshima Prefecture in Japan. It was given its world premiere by the Kagoshima Prefectural Shoyo High School Symphonic Band under the direction of their teacher, Junya Tateishi. This work was composed as ceremonial music, as part of a march medley for the participants' entry for the 71st National Sports Festival and the 16th National Disabled Personnel Sports Festival, held in Iwate Prefecture in 2016. The European premiere of this piece took place in December of that year, the composer guest conducting the Young Musicians from Fribourg, Switzerland. Breeze in the Forest was commissioned for the concert to celebrate the 60th birthday of Professor Haruyuki Nakatsukasa of Osaka Kyoiku University. "Kanreki" is a special term used to celebrate reaching the age of 60 in Japan. The composer was inspired by some of Professor Nakatsukasa's admirable characteristics upon composing this work: he speaks softly and at the same level as his students; he is fashionable, stylish and refined. Homage (Guardians of the Sea) (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Yagisawa, Satoshi
This work was commissioned by the Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force Band, based at Kure City, Hiroshima, Japan, to celebrate their 60th anniversary. The composer used a passage from Kosaku Yamada's Umi No Sakimori (Sakimori of the Sea), ceremonial music of the Maritime Self-Defence Force. The result is Homage, expressing Yagisawa's respect for Yamada and his work, a tribute to a composer whose legacy includes a large number of Japanese songs.Duration: 7.45

Ponte Vecchio (Trumpet, Alto Sax or Euphonium Solo with Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Yagisawa, Satoshi
This work was commissioned by the Osaka Kyoiku University Wind Orchestra. The world premiere took place with trumpet soloist, Osamu Kumashiro and was conducted by the composer, who was inspired by the famous Ponte Vecchio (the old bridge) during a visit to Florence. The solo part can also be performed on euphonium or alto saxophone.

Call of the Aboriginals - Uluru - Kata Tjuta was commissioned by Nara Municipal Ichijo Senior High School Symphonic Band, Nara City, Nara Prefecture, Japan, to commemorate their 60th anniversary. Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, is an immense monolith rising in the vastness of the Australian outback. Famously also known as Ayers Rock, it is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is a sacred site for the Aboriginal people of the area, the Pitjantjatjara Anangu, but has also become a popular tourist destination, creating cultural and environmental conflicts. This work, which is written in a style typical of the composer, tells a dramatic tale adventure inspired by the life of the indigenous people and the magnificent scenery of Uluru.
