Score and Parts. Vizcaya, in common with some other of Vinter's 'lighter' pieces started life as an orchestral work. Always interested in national music of other countries Gilbert wrote an atmospheric piece Fete Basque describing a festival in the Basque region of South-West France. This intoxicatingly optimistic piece, full of Mediterranean sunshine, has been arranged for wind band by Kevin G. Lamb.
