Norbert Studnitzky has arranged this series of dances for wind band and at the same time also retained longer chamber music pasages as in the original work.Thus here we have a work for wind band which on the one hand is suitable for developing a musical sense of humour in a playful way and which can also be performed on stage with a group of folk dancers.
