£244.99Les Voyages de Gulliver Wind Band Set (Score & Parts)
Maxime Aulio composed Les Voyages de Gulliver (Gulliver's Travels) for the concert band of the Conservatoire National de R?gion in Toulouse (France) conducted by Jean-Guy Olive. The first performance took place in Toulouse (Auditorium Saint-Pierre des Cuisines) on April 25, 2001. The Anglo-Irish author Jonathan Swift (1667-1745) took about six years to complete his epic tale of adventure. The creative storyline, clear writing and subtlety of Gulliver's Travels have been engaging readers for generations. This literary travel between reason and foolishness was Maxime Aulio's inspiration for this piece. Each of the four movements of this suite is a review of Gulliver's adventures, resembling the effect of a kaleidoscope, which juxtaposes small fragments of colour in a linear pattern. 0:19:00

£60.00PALLADIO (Young Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Jenkins, Karl - Longfield, Robert
Although this composition sounds like it came straight out of the Baroque period, it is actually the first movement of a suite written in 1996 by Karl Jenkins. Instantly recognized as the "diamond commercial" theme, its relentless pulse and dramatic nature make it a natural for bands. Robert Longfield's skilled arrangement puts it within reach of most groups. (2:45)

£70.00SEA SONGS (Young Band) - Vaughan Williams, Ralph - Longfield, Robert
Originally the fourth movement of Vaughan Williams' well-known English Folk Song Suite, this setting of folk songs is now considered a separate work on its own. Here for the first time is an arrangement playable by younger bands. Including Princess Royal, Admiral Benbow and Portsmouth, all the original charm and character of the original has been authentically preserved in this outstanding setting by Robert Longfield.

£65.00The TV Detectives (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Hess, Nigel
The TV Detectives brings together five of Nigel Hess's best-known television themes (Dangerfield, Campion, Wycliffe, Maigret and Hetty Wainthropp Investigates), all originally written for small-screen sleuths in whodunits that have been enjoyed by TV audiences worldwide.Dangerfield is a BBC series about a Warwickshire police surgeon, and originally starred Nigel le Vaillant, before Nigel Havers took over the lead role. Campion, also from the BBC, was based on Margery Allingham's stories of a mild-mannered 1920s gentleman detective, played by Peter Davison. Wycliffe was a long-running HTV series set in Cornwall and starred Jack Shepherd as a somewhat dour and low-key DCI - but, of course, he always solved the case! Michael Gambon starred in Granada TV's latest incarnation of the famous French detective Maigret, while Patricia Routledge played the OAP sleuth to perfection in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates, another popular BBC series. For the first time these popular tunes, which conjure up their programmes perfectly, have been arranged for wind band in a continuous suite.Duration: 8.00
