Schwarz, composed this grade 3-4 standard piece in an attempt to make his film-musical language accessible to concert bands. This work was commissioned by the Miyazaki Prefectural Police Band from Kyushu, Japan, and was premired in 2017. Bandmaster Sano is an elder alumni of Musashino Academia Musicae, Toyko, where Satoshi Yagisawa also studied. He asked Yagisawa to write a brilliant one-minute fanfare that could be played as an opening piece for any concert. It will be perfect for yours!
