Courtly Dance and Procession - Brian Balmages
You'll be surprised to know that this great sounding work uses only six notes in all instruments, with the exception of the clarinets, which use a low written B to involve the right hand. Ferrer Ferran accepted the commission to write the work and asked Mr. Buchmann jokingly to sing him a motif offive notes that would serve as the leitmotif of the composition. Starting from these five notes (Ab, B, D#, E, F), the composer has created Sdwind Overture - the result is a fantastic musical achievement that shows a great senseof imagination. Dur: 7:00
