BuckarooHoliday contains many syncopated rhythms, and convincinglyconveys cowboy life (the word buckaroo is derived from the Spanishword vaquero, meaning cowboy). However, some melodious lyricismis also present. This fine transcription for concert band has beenproduced by Ed Keeley and certainly does justice to the original.
