A unique Larry Neeck creation which combines two old Irish folk tunes to create a quality composition that is a superior choice for concert or contest performances by mid-level bands. Starting with "Slane", an expressive 3/4 melody , the piece then seques into "Brian Boru's March" an old march with a slight "Irish jig" feel. Neeck's many years as a Middle School Band Director has given him the knowledge and experience to write in a manner that gets the most out of middle school and jr. high performers without exceeding their capabilities.
