Highlights From Grease contains some of the greatest moments from the swinging rock 'n' roll teen musical, by Warren Casey and Jim Jacobs. Written in 1972, popularity for Grease rocketed again in 1978 with the smash motion picture starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. The selection consists of Born To Hand Jive, We Go Together, Summer Nights and Greased Lighnin' and combine to form a stunning medley. This version makes up part of the Hal Leonard Discovery Plus Band series for developing bands. Carefully arranged by Paul Murtha, it is suitable for Grade 2 Concert Bands and includes teaching aids and bass line reinforcement.The set includes a conductor's copy of the Full score and a separate part for each individual instrument.
