Tanczi - Jan Van der Roost

This suite was written in the style of traditional Russian folk music, but does not use existing melodies or themes as its basis. The colourful and varied work contains a number of surprising turns, but also familiar sounds. After the introduction, a kind of Trepak follows ? a fairly quick dance with attractive themes. The second movement (Garovot) is predominantly slow and conveys some melancholy, although, during a more dynamic passage the passion flares up again. Finally, the Troika takes us along in a reindeer sleigh through a grand snowy landscape. This is a wonderful tribute to the music of Eastern Europe in the style of some of the great Russian masters.

Taney Overture - Robert Hendrickson

Reflecting the grandeur of the Ozark Mountains, this work is named for the Missouri county. The rolling melodies are broken by periodic outcroppings of jagged syncopation, painting both the forest-covered hills and the rocks and waterfalls that typify the Branson area.

Tanga ! - Hans Vansant

This is a footloose and fancy-free song that will undoubtedly put your audience in that Mediterranean mood. "Tanga" is a simple but swinging piece of music and highly recommended, especially if you have a trumpet player in your band. The bridge section of this piece provides the opportunity to have a few Gringos shouting at each other in Spanish (optional). The words are provided for this. You'll think you're in Mexico thanks to the bossa nova of this concert.

Tangil - 1838 - Nuno Osório

Commissioned by Banda Musical de Tangil. Tangil is a village located in 'Vale de Mouro', in the extreme southwest of Mon�o - Portugal. The work aims to portray the history, customs and culture of the village of Tangil. It is also dedicated to the musicians and population of Tangil.
