The work depicts different scenes and sights of the village using wonderful themes as well as energetic rhythmical sequences symbolising the positive and dynamic attitude of the inhabitants. Images Of Spain - Michael Story

Three delightful contrasting traditional Spanish melodies are seamlessly interwoven for concert or contest programming. Including the revered "Asturias" by Isaac Albniz, Granados' "Spanish Dance #5" from his Twelve Spanish Dances, and the well-known "Espaa Cai," a paso doble by Pascual Marquina Narro featuring a wide variety of ensemble textures. iMaginations is a bright and colorful overture with a strong memorable theme in a fast meter that is shared across the sections of the band. It drives forward relentlessly with great vigor and vitality, culminating in a soaring legato rendition of the main theme, first heard in trombones and trumpets. This piece aims at the more advanced bands who, as the composer tells us, will find it an exciting ride.

Imagine - John Lennon

John Lennon's career was far from over when in April 1970, following the recording of the album Let It Be, the Beatles split up. This musically gifted and creative composer of many Beatles songs had a number of solo hits before he was tragically killed in 1980. Imagine was one of John Lennon's best songs and it remained in the charts long after his death. It is still not forgotten and is now thought of as a true pop classic. Takashi Hoshide has produced this attractive new arrangement for concert band.
