"Good Vibes" by Florian Klinger is a solo piece for vibraphone and concert band that instantly lifts the mood with its grooving rhythms and jazzy harmonies. A soulful introduction leads into a virtuosic cadenza, building toward a disco-inspired, energetic finale. The catchy opening theme returns at the end, providing a feel-good conclusion. Two sections allow for improvisation, though a fully notated version is also available. Depending on the venue, amplification of the vibraphone may be useful. Medium to medium-hard mallets are recommended, and the addition of an electric bass is strongly encouraged for rhythmic support.
