American composer George Gershwin (1898-1937) created many world-famous Broadway and popular melodies and also pioneered "symphonic jazz", the fusion of classical and jazz styles. Gershwin in Wind Band! is a compilation of my brass octets Gershwin in Brass! (2007) and Gershwin in Brass 2!! (2011).
