Hudson River Sketches - By Michael Story

This work is a set of three independent, contrasting pieces, each inspired by paintings of scenes along New York's Hudson River. In the first movement, a quiet opening gives way to a rousing romp. The middle section offers a reflective mood, with visions of shimmering shadows and clouds floating beneath the moon. The concluding segment gives us visions of the massive structures found on the banks of the Hudson.
