This work was previously published under the title 'De Bovenwindse Eilanden' (The Windward Islands)by Molenaar and at that time it remained relatively unknown. This is very undeserved, especially whenwe compare it with Malando's 'Cordilleras de los Andes', which was very successful indeed.Caribbean Concerto is a suite in three movements with varied Latin-American dances.
