Attractive trumpet concerto in three movements. The lively, virtuosic Allegro ritmico is composed in the classical manner. The beautiful, quiet Ballade for flugelhorn with orchestral accompaniment provides relaxation before moving to the third movement, the finale. This last part reflects the atmosphere of the beautiful Highlands. Thus, each of the three parts has its own musical character, resulting in a varied work.
