Pavane Pour Une Infante Defunte (Trombone Solo with Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Ravel, Maurice - De Meij, Johan

Pavane pour une Infante Defunte (Pavane for a Dead Princess) is one of Ravel's most popular pieces alongside Bolero. Written in 1899, the original piano version was arranged for orchestra by the composer and became a highlight of the French classical repertoire. The Seville Suite, Highlights from (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Whelan, Bill - De Meij, Johan

The success of Bill Whelan's Riverdance evolved from a concept for music and dance that he established earlier with The Seville Suite, his first major orchestral composition. The Seville Suite was commissioned for Ireland's National Day at the World Expo 1992 in Seville, Spain. Through the score, Whelan tells the story of legendary Irish war hero Red Hugh O'Donnell. Edgar (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Puccini, Giacomo - De Meij, Johan

Edgar was Giacomo Puccini's second opera but despite numerous changes and adaptations, it was never able to match the success enjoyed by his first opera Le Villi. Puccini himself was never completely satisfied with the opera either. It was not until the 1970's, after the first release of a recording of the work, that Edgar gained in popularity and recognition. Der Tod und das Machen (Death and the Maiden) (Concert Band - Score and Parts) - Schubert, Franz - De Meij, Johan
